  • Owned full project lifecycle from concept to industrial-scale production — scope, schedule, budget and risk across hardware, electronics and software workstreams.
  • Coordinated 15+ internal and external stakeholders and a multidisciplinary project team across three institutions.
  • Defined the project roadmap and KPIs, aligning delivery milestones with validation gates and funding cycles.
  • Managed the EU MDR Class IIa CE conformity process — technical file and notified-body interactions — the compliance backbone of the project.
  • Secured 1.5M CHF in project funding through 8+ competitive grants (Innosuisse, EU, cantonal); owned budget tracking and financial reporting.
  • Delivered the project through to a granted European patent (EPO, 2025) and 3 peer-reviewed publications, incl. Nature Digital Medicine.

  • Built and ran a rapid-prototyping business model combining hardware production and service delivery projects; wound the venture down in 2016 as its workload became incompatible with completing the degree.
